I had the great pleasure of working with Vittorio and his team at IMS to develop a prototype solution to meet an important, urgent unmet-market need. We needed a cloud based solution to generate 3D Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) renderings of 2-D image stacks to provide 3-D mapping, diagnosis and treatment planning of oral cancer in remote and low-income countries. The OCT scans are performed locally by non-specialists and uploaded to the cloud. The images are then viewed and read remotely by oral cancer specialists. My colleagues and I were absolutely delighted with the outstanding, detailed and intuitive 3-D prototype renderings from IMS and the time-and labor-efficient workflow process. Our project is paused due to the pandemic but I am eager to move forward with the project once things start up again.

CloudVue provides healthcare clinicians and researchers the ability to view and share medical imaging data in a highly secure cloud environment – anywhere they can get access to an internet connection.
We found the IMS technology to be a good complement to the ACR CortexTM radiology learning platform. Their flexible, cost-effective solution will allow us to provide a rich, interactive viewing experience to hundreds of learners simultaneously over the web.
